A radio pro for more than 25 years, Rachel is all about having fun and making life better for you! She understands the word “busy” being the mother of a 9 year-old daughter. She’s not sure which one of them enjoys toy shopping more. She’s also “mom” to two Siberian huskies, Scarlet and Carmine and Wendel the pug. When not in the studio, you can find Rachel working on a Children’s Book, a movie script for the Lifetime Network or on the trail, as she hopes to run a marathon in the near future.
Jim “Jimbo” Powers
Weekdays 6A – 10A
Jim “Jimbo” Powers has been lending his voice, production and audio engineering talents to numerous stations, as well as to thousands of clients, since the age of 14. He’s held many airshifts, including morning and afternoon drive times, in markets across Texas and New Mexico. Jimbo has also served in many management positions, such as Music Director, Program Director and Operations Director. He was hired as Creative Services Director in 1993 at LBJ Broadcasting, which was owned by Lady Bird Johnson, and remained in that title after LBJ Broadcasting sold their stations to Emmis Communications in 2003. Fun fact: Jimbo has worked on this exact 93.3 FM frequency in Central Texas since high school in the mid-1980s. Tune in to Jimbo every morning from 6 AM-10 AM as he plays all your “Relaxing Favorites to Start Your Day.”
